Screen (separator) Willibald Flex Star 3000

After raw material has been shredded, the final components need to be separated by fraction size—from compost and bark mulch to wood chips and nutrient-rich soil. The Flex Star 3000 is a powerful machine capable of screening 3 fractions in a single pass.

The star-shaft type FlexStar 3000 screen is engineered to sort biomass, compost, pre-shredded waste wood, bark mulch, and wood chips into three fractions in just one operation. The Flex-Star 3000 excels where standard screening technology fails. The high discharge height of up to 3.80 m increases stockpile capacity, optimizing wheel loader operations.

Mounted on a road-legal chassis certified for 80 km/h, it features a standard pneumatic braking system with ABS and is powered by a robust 4-cylinder Perkins diesel engine delivering 75 kW (102 hp). This system provides maximum torque at 1600 rpm and complies with current emission standards.

Its compact design (machine length: 10.3 m) ensures high mobility and optimal performance in space-constrained areas. A large feed hopper guarantees even material distribution and high throughput of up to 160 m³/h, combined with precise material separation. The heart of the screening system is the J. Willibald GmbH-designed screen with metal stars on flexible shafts. The modular design allows for 2 or 3-fraction screening, depending on requirements. Hydraulic switching is quick and easy via remote control.
