The system employs a rotating drum with teeth and movable knives to compress and tea bags open. Feed rate control and temporary storage area provided by a robust chain conveyor in the feed section. Major Benefit: By avoiding shredding, the bag opener maintains the original volume and quality of valuable recyclable fractions.
