Belt Conveyor for Municipal Solid Waste (MSW)

Belt conveyors are available in several types, depending on their intended application. They are used for feeding raw materials to processing units, for primary MSW sorting in manual sorting systems, and for interconnecting various technological units. Belt conveyors are also employed for transporting various materials in waste processing, mining, and other industries, as well as in construction and agriculture.

All conveyors feature a frequency control system for the drive electric motor, allowing for adjustable conveyor speed, and are equipped with an emergency stop system.

Belt conveyors are used as acceleration or high-speed conveyors when integrated into an automated municipal solid waste sorting system. Their primary task is to evenly distribute the waste stream on the surface (creating a monolayer) to prepare it for the scanning and air separation process. The conveyor is supplied as a complete set with a separation chamber (featuring an access door, guide plate, and splitter shaft) and mounting fixtures for the valve block.

Belt conveyors can be manufactured in the following configurations:

• Troughing (straight; with path bend; reversible)
• Sorting
• Flat (straight; with path bend; reversible)

Application Conditions:

• Transporting bulk and small-piece (unit) loads in horizontal and inclined directions over short, medium, and long distances. Use as conveying equipment within other machines or processing lines.
• Suitable for applications where complex conveyor paths are not required to fit into limited spaces and achieve specific technological parameters; relatively simple conveyor routes.
• Operation without significant impact loads on the conveyor belt.
