The device is attached to the rear of a tractor via a standard hitch and powered by the tractor’s PTO (power take-off) system. As the tractor advances over the pile, the unit regularly turns and aerates the feedstock, ensuring uniform moisture blend, optimal oxygen levels, and rapid microbial decomposition to neutralize pathogens, eggs, and weed seeds.
